Over the past twenty years David's Commentary and Voice Over work has embraced Ski Sunday, the Commonwealth Games and Winter Olympics for the BBC to Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway for ITV. With seven Summer and ten Winter Olympics under his belt, including Tokyo 2021 and Beijing 2022, David is presently a Senior Commentator for Discovery/Eurosport focusing on the Winter World Cup Ski and Ski Jumping season along with the major Canoeing, Rowing, Weightlifting and Equestrian Championships of the year.

Kudos to David Goldstrom who brings Olympic weightlifting to life in his broadcasts of european and world championships. I hope he’s here to stay. He works probably harder than anyone, he’s the guy who orchestrates the production days and many hours before the 1st lifter touches the stage. I know he doesn’t like fanfare so I had to sneak a pic of him at work a few days before the 2009 worlds. He has wisely selected some fairly entertaining sidekicks like David Morgan in the past and now Randy Strossen. I’m looking forward to their commentary on Eurosport.
